PURPOSE:To realize more economical running of an engine by reducing effectively the consumption of highly vaporizing fuel in high speed running. CONSTITUTION:In a caburetor 1 for various fuel, a communicating hole 16 is adapted to open to a throat part of a venturi tube 3 in an intake path 2 and a second float chamber 6 for receiving highly vaporizing fuel (gasoline) is adapted to communicate to the throat part of the venturi tube 3 in the intake path 2. In high speed running with the large opening of a throttle valve 4, the flow velocity of air in the throat part of the venturi tube 3 in the intake path 2 is maximized, so that negative intake pressure acting on the communicating hole 16 opening to the throat part becomes larger than that acting on an idle port 15. As a result, the outflow of the highly vaporizing fuel in the second float chamber 6 to the intake path 2 is blocked surely so that the consumption of the hghly vaporizing fuel in the high speed running is reduced effectively to enable the more economical running of an engine. |
