PURPOSE:To intercept oxygen in air from the part of an air-liquid interface of a heat exchanger by putting a heat-shrinkable tube on it for preventing it from corroding due to the effects of the oxygen in the air and a heat storage material in the case when the heat exchanger is immersed in a tank holding the heat storage material. CONSTITUTION:A heat storage material (e.g. calcium chloride hexahydrate, sodium chloride) 2 is held in a tank frame 1 and a heat exchanger (a copper pipe, an aluminum pipe or the like) 3 is immersed therein. In order to make a heat medium flow through the heat exchanger 3, pipes 8 and 8a need to be provided at inlet and outlet parts of the heat exchanger 3 respectively. The pipes 8 and 8a are so provided as to extend above an air-liquid interface 5 of the heat storage material 2 and they are led outside through a cover plate 4. Since air exists in a space between the air-liquid interface 5 of the heat storage material 2 and the cover plate 4, tubes 7 and 7a are put on the parts of the air-liquid interface 5 of the pipes 8 and 8a so as to intercept oxygen in the air. Parts between the cover plate 4 and the pipes 8 and 8a are sealed with sealing materials 10 and 10a so that fresh air may not enter a space part 6. |
