The holder has several compartments for retaining at least one coil (14) standing on its periphery. The compartments are separated by partitions (15), with orthogonal walls (16-18) forming a trough tiltable about a horizontal axis (19) between two end positions. The walls are firmly coupled to the partitions and the trough may be removably fitted in tilting bearings. The centre of gravity of the hose coil holder is located higher than the tilting axis, with both end position at different sides of the tilting axis.
