The appts. includes at least one semiconductor laser (HL) and an interferometer connected to the laser. At least one semiconductor laser is integrated together with the connected interferometer on one module. Preferably, two semi-conductor lasers (HL1,HL2) are used and these are arranged such that their ends join together at a given angle and extend into an integral optical coupling zone (Z). This zone provides a working connection between the two semiconductor lasers.
