Manufacturing process for prefabricated walls

The shuttering for the wall is erected and an internal plaster applied. The shuttering is filled with the wall material such as concrete and then an insulating material such as glass or steel wool is applied. Finally an outer layer such as plaster, brick, marble, granite, metal or plastics cladding is applied to the insulation. The insulation material can be applied before the concrete has completely set. After filling the shuttering and preferably after applying the insulation, fixing anchors such as hooks or nails are inserted in the still unset wall material. Recesses for doors and/or windows, and an empty pipe for subsequent water and electrical pipes can also be added into the process.
