Adjusting mechanism for remote triggers of e.g. small arms

The trigger (10) moves about the axis (A) and controls the firing mechanism via a rod connected to the intermediate sub-assembly (27). Adjustment is by the polygonally-headed screw (33a,b) running in the bore (41) in the intermediate sleeve (27) and engaging the thread (43) in the trigger. The screw is recessed into the sleeve and moves it against the spring (55) to adjust the relative positions of the sub-assembly and the trigger. The screw is locked against rotation by the fit of its head (33a) in the sleeve (27).
