Protection of trees against bad weather

The tree protection consists of a rigid frame (1) supporting a canvas protection envelope (2) which is spread out to cover the tree. The frame is constituted from vertical supports (3) which carry at their upper end a hub (8) on which are placed bars (4) which carry the protection envelope. The envelope is spread out over 360 deg to envelope the tree and fit the tree section so that the tree is sealed. There are several models which can be used to fit the size and silhouette of the tree. The supports can be constituted from semi-circular tubes which fit into each other with members enabling their telescopic movement to provide height adjustment. Alternatively the tubes can be telescopic pivoted arms. The supports are located in a circle around the tree giving a vertical cylinder protection with a hemispherical cover on top allowing covering of varied tree shapes.
