PURPOSE:To obtain the distance measuring device in which the adjusting operation of the electric characteristic of an amplifier system is not required. CONSTITUTION:Preamplifiers 30a, 30b, gain control circuits 31a, 31b, sample-and- hold circuits 32a, 32b, buffers 33a, 33b and main amplifiers 34a, 34b are connected individually to output terminals 9a, 9b for a PSD(position-sensitive device) 9. A microcomputer 14 reads out pieces of distance measured data AFD1, AFD2 by means of an A/D converter 15. When their value is improper, the value of a gain is changed via a control circuit 35 and a gain controller 36. The maximum value and the minimum value of the gain are written into an EEPROM 29 via a terminal device 28 for every camera. When the gain is controlled, the maximum value and the minimum value of the gain stored in a RAM 43 from the EEPROM 29 are referred to. Data which decides the timing of a sample-and-hold operation and a factor which corrects the difference in a gain between channels are stored in the EEPROM 29. |
