<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thin film transitor panel capable of securing the capacitance value of an auxiliary capacitance to be sufficiently large and also capable of displaying a bright image with good contrast while enhancing the opening ratio of a display part. CONSTITUTION:In a thin film transistor panel in which a pixel electrode 19. a thin film transistor 4 being an active element for the electrode and a capacitance electrode 17 arranged by being contronted with the edge part of the pixel electrode 19 and constituting an auxiliary capacitance C in between confrontings are provided on the surface of a transparent substrate 2, a recessed part 2a is formed on the surface of the substrate 2 and at least one part of the capacitance electrode 17 is arranged in the inside surface including the side face of the recessed part 2a and also at least one part of the edge part of the pixel electrode 19 is made to be confronted with the capacitance electrode 17 of the part arranged in the inside surface of the recessed part 2a.</p> |
