PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a flat radial tire without reducing controllability. CONSTITUTION:A carcass comprises a rubber layer 1 of organic fiber cord, and a tire sectional width is positioned within 25 to 35% of a tire sectional height when it is measured from a line which is passed through a bead heel and in parallel with a tire rotational axis to a tire outside diameter position. Also a radius of curvature r1 of an arc which is approximated to the sectional shape of a carcass main body part extending to the radial outer side of the tire from the tire sectional width position is 1.1 to 2.0 times the radius of curvature r2 of an arc which is approximated to the tire outer projected part of the sectional shape of the carcass main body part extending to the radial inner side of the tire from the tire sectional width position.
