Fluid shut-off device allowing user access in awkward locations

A shut-off device for the fluid path in a tube conduit is formed as a changeover nut closure where the shut-off body is the closure bung. Here the closure bung (11) resting in the changeover nut (10) can be reversed so that by screw action o n the nut it compresses the bung so that its sealing surfaces (14, 15) bear against a resting surface in a first closure position to shut off the flow path (9) and in a second position opens the path.
