PURPOSE:To provide a Q-switched CO2 laser of a structure, wherein a confocal telescope and a rotating chopper are arranged in a laser resonator and an alignment of the laser resonator can be always maintained in the optimum state for realizing always stably a laser output and a laser beam space mode, which are important in the actual application of the laser. CONSTITUTION:A Q-switched CO2 laser of a structure, wherein a Q-switched device consisting of a telescope, which is constituted of one pair of condensing optical elements, and a rotating chopper, which is arranged at the confocal position of the telescope, is arranged in a resonator, is provided with a temperature control device of a structure, wherein an atmospheric temperature on the periphery of a confocal telescope is detected by a temperature detector 12 and the atmospheric temperature is controlled in such a way that it is held roughly constant by a heater 11 via a temperature converter 15, a comparator 14 and a heating amount controller 13. |
