PURPOSE: To provide an improved color printer which can create a color image, while a dielectric surface passes through plural ionography image projecting heads once. CONSTITUTION: A printing mechanism 50 of ionography uses a disposable type dielectric mapping medium 52. A supply roll 54 supplies the medium 52 to a winding roll 56. The medium 52 passes through plural color-developing modules 58 to 64, from the supply roll 54. A conductive support 66 supplies a plane on which the medium 52 passes through and supplies data which is an object that is operated by the separate modules 58 for properly toning an image. A processor 36 can appropriately deposit ions on the medium 52, in a direction of the image, through an address generator 34. The processor 36 also operates each of four color toner modules 74, through a toner module control circuit 80. |
