PURPOSE:To prevent generation of negative pressure in the vicinity of an opening part of an intake port during running so as to introduce a sufficient quantity of cooling air into an engine part by forming a wall part projected to the outside in the rear of the intake port in a fan cowling of a forced air cooled engine in which the intake port is provided in the rear of a body of a motor-cycle. CONSTITUTION:In a scooter type motor-cycle, an engine 10 and a cooling fan 18 are covered with a cylinder cowling and a fan cowling 20, and in this case, a wall part 22 having a small height from the outer surface of the outward projecting part 20a is projected in the rear of an intake port 21 opened to the rear of a car. When running wind passes above the wall part 22, some of running wind is forced to strike the front of the wall part 22 and flow to the intake port 21 side. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of negative pressure caused by decrease in quantity of air which flows to the rear of the car near the intake port 21, so that a flow of cooling air into the cylinder cowling can be secured enough so as to stabilize cooling performance. |
