The pole terminal clamp is formed by 2 stamped sheet metal contact straps (2), fitting over the conical pole pin (1) and a flat setting element (3), held together at one side by a rivet (4) and clamped into engagement with the pole pin via a perpendicular setting screw (6,7) at the opposite side.The contact straps cooperate to clamp the lead cable (5) on the opposite side to the setting screw, their edges bent inwards towards one another and their inside surfaces roughened for increasing the clamping force.
