PURPOSE:To form cut lines of light distribution clearly. CONSTITUTION:A lighting fixture device is composed as a front lamp for a vehicle. Light from a light source is transmitted by an optical fiber 30. The light goes through a shade 60 to be formed in a specified form to get from the optical fiber 30 into a light guide lens 20. The light guide lens 20 converges the light from an incidental end surface 22 at an outgoing end surface 21 to radiate it. Light distribution is thus formed in accordance with the form of the shade 60 and optical characteristics of the light guide lens 20. An end part of the shade 60 decides a cut line at an upper part of the light distribution, especially in an opposed traffic lane direction. This shade 60 is positioned on an optical axis X' of the outgoing end surface 21 of the light guide lens 20. The upper cut line of the light distribution in the opposed traffic line is thus formed clearly, thereby a wide radiation range reaching an opposed traffic line can be realized without giving glaringness to a driver in the opposed traffic lane. |
