<p>PURPOSE:To process the network service with high performance economically even to a terminal not supporting the protocol of a communication network by converting a user PDU into the form of a cell and implementing PDU capsule processing and de-capsule processing when the user PDU is capsulated into an in-network PDU and transferring it into the network. CONSTITUTION:In an ATM communication network in which a protocol data unit PDU sent by the user is divided into ATM cells and ATM cells are communicated on cell base, each of terminal accommodation equipments 17, 18 is provided with a means identifying the head of a cell sent by the user, a means analyzing the content of a received cell and revising the content of the cell into other content, and a means generating a cell storing an in-network protocol header. That is, terminals 19, 20 are terminals corresponding to ATM connection-less communication CLNAP, since ATM terminals 1, 2 processing the user PDU into a cell to send/receive data have the processing function of CLNAP-PDU, the terminal accommodation equipments 17, 18 arranged in the network are required.</p> |
