Adhesive anti-inflammatory nystatin ointment

An adhesive ointment for the local treatment of non-mycotic inflammatory mucous membrane disorders contg. a therapeutically effective amt. of nystatin in an adhesive ointment base is claimed. The ointment base conveniently contains as the adhesive agent at least 1 acrylic acid polymer having a high mol. wt., pref. 0.8-4.5 Mio, esp. 2-4 Mio, opt. together with other adhesion-promoting substances.
