摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an automotive interior material having an air-permeability, improving the productivity, and being able to be freely formed into a desired shape, by integrating a cover material with a fiber mixture of fiber and a binding material by heat fusing. CONSTITUTION:An air-permeable cover material 2 and, if necessary a core material 3, that is, an auxiliary material, are placed, and a blow nozzle 8 is set is a mold 1. After a specified amount of a fiber mixture 6 of fiber and a binding material is blown into the cover material 2 through the nozzle 8, the materials are thermally formed in the air-permeable mold 1 using hot air or steam. If thermal forming is performed at a temperature of the hot air that is higher than the melting point of the lower melting point component of the conjugate fiber, that is, the binding material, and lower than that of the higher melting point component, the binding material fiber will remain in a distinct fiber state but will achieve binding at the melting point of the lower melting point component, thus achieving high durability and air-permeability. Cool air is then supplied for solidification followed by shape formation. The automotive interior material is thus produced.
