PURPOSE:To obtain a gas adsorption/desorption measuring method of catalyst for automobile in which the dynamic behavior of three-component catalyst for automobile can be observed and the reaction taking place on the surface of the catalyst can be grasped definitely. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas at a predetermined temperature or a simulation gas G composed of similar components is fed to a cell 8 containing a sample 13 a constant flow rate while switching alternately, at a predetermined period, to CO and O2 heated at a predetermined temperature. Under that state, the cell 8 is irradiated with coherent infrared rays IR. |
