PURPOSE:To perform a width connecting work stable for a long time without generating a flare, when worked, in a bonding part, by detecting tension of each film by a ball-shaped tension detecting roller, and adjusting each film delivery speed in accordance with this detection, in the case of performing width connecting work in two sheets of film. CONSTITUTION:Two sheets of film 1, 2 of plastic or the like, coming out from a delivery device, after via a guide roller and a tension control device, are advanced into a bonding device and bonded to each other. Here is detected tension of each film 1, 2 just before the bonding device through tension detecting rollers 3, 4 of the tension control device, to convert this tension into an electric signal fed back to electric motors 12, 13 of the delivery device, so as to automatically adjust a delivery speed, that is, the tension. For instance, when the film 1 is loosened to lower down the ball-shaped roller 3, a corresponding electric signal is generated from an electric signal converter controller 10 through a balance detecting gear 8 meshed with a gear 6, by its cooperative turning, to decrease a rotational speed of the electric motor 12. |
