PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for assembling or connecting the end of a helical spring of a loom with respect to another member so as to remove drawbacks of a conventional known device and facilitate the assembling and not to cause resonance during the contracting actions. CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this apparatus for assembling or connecting the end of a helical spring 5 to another member 6 is to comprise the end of the other member 6 provided with an element having a connecting member 7a threaded so as to be screwed during the turning of the end of the helical spring 5 and made of an elastic material cooperating with the end of the helical spring 5 and to compose the elastic element of at least two elastic branches 7d and 7e designed to cooperate with the turning of the end of the helical spring 5 in order to create friction for eliminating the resonance of the helical spring 5 during the turning of the helical spring 5 when subjected to successive rapid pulling.
