The digging device (52) is arranged at the front of the travelling device (51) and is designed to dig the ground. A sorting installation (53) for separating explosive objects (17, 25) from the dug-up earth is arranged on the travelling device (51) and associated with the digging device (52). The digging device (52) is inclined in the direction of the travelling device (51) and extends at least partially over the travelling device (51). A chain cutter provided with digging tools (60) is used as digging device. Alternatively, a revolving conveyor beam may also be used.
