PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF REACTIVE AZO DYES COMPOUNDS

The reactive azo dye cpd. of formula (I) is prepd. by : condensing the cpd. of formula (II) with cyanuric chloride to prepare dichloro-S-triazine cpd. of formula (III); coupling the cpd. (III) with diazonized amine cpd. of formula (IV) to prepare dichloro-S-triazine monoazo cpd. of formula (V); 2nd condensing the cpd. (V) with the cpd. of formula (VI). In the formulas, R1, R2 are H, methyl, methoxy, carboxyl, or sulfonyl; X is vinyl or vinylsulfon.
