RESIDENCE PREDICTING APPARATUS AND APPLIED EQUIPMENT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To accurately predict a resident in a room by automatically and adaptively sorting clusters based on residence/absence decided result at each one day, and obtaining a predicted room staying rate from a cluster time series and standard pattern. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessor 12 decides the presence or absence of a person at each predetermined time of one day in an object area based on information P1 from an active amount sensor 11. A sorter 13 automatically and adaptively sort a residence/absence decision signal Z of one day output from the preprocessor 12, and updates the standard pattern of each cluster. Data memory means 14 stores the standard pattern from the sorter 13 according to the standard pattern signal Re. A predicting unit 15 predicts cluster of next day from paste time series. Predicted value output means 16 outputs previous predicted room staying rate signal Pr from present time from the predicted cluster number signal Np output from the unit 15 and the signal Re output from the means 14. Thus, accurate resident in the room can be predicted.
