Footbridge which can be dismantled, especially for military use

The footbridge consists of two end sections, and one or more coupled intermediate sections. Each intermediate section has a footpath (4) located between two side girders (3,3'), which can each carry a railing (13). The section has a triangular shape, formed from the footpath component (A) and side components (B,C), which each have upright and diagonal members. The weight of each intermediate section is reduced by separating the footpath component from the side components. The latter are connected to a lower girder (D) by hinges (8,8'), and can be folded flat against each other for carriage. They can also be connected to the footpath component in the region of its side girders, using releasable connectors (9,9').
