PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for deforming three-dimensional shape model with which even a general user can extremely easily deform a three-dimensional shape model without any skill by excluding a precise special deforming function but providing only the simple deforming operation. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a display means 1 for displaying the three-dimensional shape model, input means 2 for instructing and inputting the deforming part, deforming direction and deforming amount of the shape model, deforming means 3 for deforming the shape model corresponding to the inputs from the input means 2, storage means 4 for storing the data of the shape model and change rules at the time of deforming the shape model, and deformation analystic means 5 for judging whether the deformation instructed from the input means 2 is enabled or not while referring to the stored contents of the storage means 4 and for analyzing its deformation pattern when the deformation is enabled. |
