PURPOSE: To provide a simulated field of view display device for a steering simulator without mounting a navigation instrument, etc., and capable of confirming the navigation instrument when steering simulation is performed. CONSTITUTION: In a display device for the steering simulator display a simulated field of view video from an operator, operating a speed setting device 8 and a course setting device 7 and manipulating a ship, this device is provided with a data base 16 storing the simulated field of view data, etc., a simulated view field video generation part 1 inputting the simulated field of view data and generating the simulated field of view video by manipulating the speed setting device 8 and the course setting device 7, a sailing instrument display generation part 2 generating own ship information based on the steering and a video synthesis part 4 synthesizing the simulated field of view video with its own ship information. |
