PURPOSE: To provide a signal processor which is not necessary to use an A-D converter. CONSTITUTION: A timing generator 4 sends a signal for opening a gate 11 to the gate 11 when receiving a signal from a signal detector 3. As a result, the pulse from a reference clock generator 9 is set to a counter 12 through the gate 11, and the counter 12 counts the sent pulse. A rectangular filter 2 converts a signal V from a delay circuit 1 into a rectangular signal, and sends the signal to an integrator 5. The integrator 5 integrates the sent signal, and sends the integral signal to a comparator 10. The comparator 10 compares the integral value from the integrator 5 with a threshold value, and sends a signal for closing the gate 11 to the gate 11 when the integral value from the integrator 5 exceeds the threshold value. The pulse number counted by the counter 12 is sent to a controller 13, which obtains the strength of the input signal.
