PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for disinfection stably blended with chlorhexidine in a concentrated ethyl alcohol solution, by adding an organic acid to a system. CONSTITUTION: This composition for disinfection is obtained by adding chlorhexidine and an organic acid (esp. pref. lactic acid or citric acid) to a solution containing ethyl alcohol at a concentration of >=50wt.% to adjust the whole system to pH3-5. The organic acid other than lactic acid and citric acid, is e.g. acetic acid, maleic acid, salicylic acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid. Besides, this composition for disinfection can also be blended with e.g. glycyrrhizic acid or a derivative therefrom, vitaminE acetate, vitaminB6 , a water-soluble polymer such as xyanthan gum, dextrin or hydroxyethyl cellulose. |
