Ion exchange resin catalyst for the syntheses of bisphonois and the process for preparing the same

摘要

An ion exchange resin catalyst containing sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer, with special porous structure is disclosed. The catalyst is suitable for the condensation reaction between a phenol and a carbonyl compound to prepare bisphenols,especially suitable for the condensation reaction between phenol and acetone to prepare bisphenol A.
