PURPOSE: To obtain a cut flower fragrance-reinforcing agent containing a water- soluble perfume, etc., as an active ingredient, enabling to persistently exhale the fragrance from the flower or leaves of the cut flower, and useful for the preservative of the cut flower, etc. CONSTITUTION: Thus cut flower fragrance-reinforcing agent contains a water-soluble or dispersible perfume such as phenyl ethyl ether, vanillin, orα-ionone as an active ingredient. The concentration of the fragrance-reinforcing agent in an aqueous solution or dispersion is preferably 0.05-5wt.% based on the amount of water in a container for inserting the cut flower such as cut chrysanthemum or rose thereinto.
