PURPOSE:To provide a surface treating material which has excellent mildew proofing and antibacterial properties as a surface treatment for a heat exchanger (evaporator) for an automotive air conditioner, etc., hydrophilic properties required as a surface treating film and giving prevents separation, scattering, cracks of the film. CONSTITUTION:A surface 5 of an evaporator E is chromated 8 for a corrosion resistance, and an inorganic series hydrophilic film 12 is provided thereon. The film 12 contains 60-80wt.% polymer silica 11 as a base, 10-40wt.% at least one type of resin 9 of aqueous dispersive polyamide series resin and aqueous dispersive polyamide series resin, and 3-10wt.% antibacterial reagent 10 made of 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole (A) and 2,3,5,6-tetrachloro-4-(methylsulfonyl) pyridine (B) in such a manner that A:B =1:0.17-0.25 is satisfied. |
