The sepn. of recombinant pro-factor IX (pF9) from recombinant factor IX (F9) by chromatography is new. Also claimed are: (i) highly pure recombinant F9 used as a factor IX antagonist and (ii) the use of recombinant F9 in a pharmaceutical compsn.
