At the time of reading the speeds, the ECU 16 calculates the difference between the speeds. Then the ECU 16 finds the differentiated value of the wheel speed Vωnamely, the deceleration of the drive wheel. Thereafter, the ECU 16 calculates the decreasing amount of the regenerative torque commanding value by utilizing the values thus found. Therefore, the drive wheel is released from a locked state.
