Analogue or quasi-analogue display for IC engine operation

The analogue display includes a processor (1) with ROM memory (2). The value of optimum fuel consumption according to a revs to load ratio is stored in the memory. Impulses from a rev counter are fed through a first input (3). A second input is connected to a sensor (4), the signals of which vary according to the load put on the crankshaft. The two readings are compared and displayed (5). The position or size of a yield operation region of the display depends on the value of the variable parameters being measured.
