PURPOSE: To continuously and stably perform uniform kneading in high emitting quantity by using a continuous kneader having self-cleaning action and providing a liquid supply part on the downstream side of a polymeric substance supply part and setting the internal pressure of the kneader of a part between both supply parts higher than that of the kneader of the liquid supply part. CONSTITUTION: When a polymeric substance and a liquid are kneaded, a continuous kneader having self-cleaning action is used and one fluid supply part 22 is provided on the downstream side of a polymeric substance supply part 21. When two or more fluid supply parts are provided, the polymeric substance is kneaded with a liquid in a first liquid supply part to be lowered in its viscosity and subsequently strongly kneaded with a large amt. of the liquid in this liquid supply part. The internal pressure of the kneader of a part between the polymeric substance supply part and the liquid supply part 22 at the most upstream position is set higher than that of the kneader in the liquid supply part 22 at the most upstream position. By setting this pressure distribution, even when the addition amt. of a liquid is increased, the back flow of the liquid in an upstream direction can be obstructed and, as a result, the emitting amt. of the liquid can be increased. |
