Modular arrangement for emergency lighting system

An arrangement of electrical units in an emergency lighting system has at least one carrier plate (1) with several busbars (2) insulated from each other, including AC, DC and information-carrying conductors. The units are modules (14) with spring contacts that snap over the busbars. The modules sit side by side and the busbars provide all the necessary power connections. The carrier plate is designed as a bridge-like structure so that conductors can run beneath it. The array of busbars has a covering lid, with slits above the bars so that the spring contacts of the modules can be plugged in. The carrier plate has screw terminals (5) for the busbars.
