Degassing system has the following components arranged consecutively in the direction of flow: (a) a prod. inlet (1); (b) a coolable conveyor section (2); (c) a size reduction system (3); (d) a heated conveyor section (4); and (e) a prod. outlet (5). The entire system is gastight, and is fitted with a gas outlet (6) in section (2) and/or near the size reduction system (3).
