The frame has a lower pair of arms and a single upper arm, which are attached to the bicycle frame at three end fastening points (3,4,4a). The ends of the two lower arms have notches to fit onto the hub of the rear wheel, and the upper arm engages the saddle or saddle column. At the rear of the frame the arms engage upright members in a rectangular or oval configuration, which define a pair of handgrips. The junctions (1) between the lower arms and the upright members may be in the form of pivot joints.
