The system includes a switched public network (2) which is connected to a terminal (1). The terminal connects to several stations (TE1-TE3). The terminal has RF connections (LH1) to the first station, and the station connects to a set of subscribers (A). The first station has an RF connection (LH2) to an intermediate station (I). The intermediate station has an RF connection to the second station, with a second set of subscribers (B1) and via a third RF connection (LH3) to the third station and a third set of subscribers (C).
