PURPOSE: To provide an information processing method/device which can improve the convenience to users by controlling the voice data in response to each of images displayed on plural screens. CONSTITUTION: Plural pieces of both voice and video data are read out of a file storage 106 and stored in a voice buffer 108 and a video buffer 109 of a main storage 107. Then plural images are shown on a bit map display 101, and the sound volume of the voice data is controlled in response to the image that is designated by a pointing device 103. The controlled voice data are outputted through a speaker 104.
