<p>A process for producing ammonium polyphosphate of crystalline form II is described, which comprises heating a mixture of a phosphate-containing substance and a condensation agent in an ammoniacal wet air atmosphere in the presence of ammonium polyphosphate of crystalline form II as a compound for crystal formation (seed compound) to condense the phosphate-containing substance with the condensation agent.</p> |
