<p>The security cap is basically cylindrical in shape, closed at one end (3) and having an aperture at the other for the bottle neck (2). The cap (1) is in two halves (4,5), hinged along the generating surface of the cylinder, and on the opposite side to the hinge it has a lock which requires two simultaneous actions to release it. The lock consists of an elastic lug (6) and a projection on one half (4) of the cap, and at least one elastic vane (11) on the other which lies in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the hinge and makes contact with the projection (10) when the cap is locked. The vane (11) has at least one stop (12) which interacts with a stop (7) on the first half of the cap, and the elastic lug (6) has a press-button (9) to release the mechanism.</p> |
