The motorcycle has a main frame, and an engine, which is suspended from the frame via an engine suspension element (7). The element has a top end section, fastened to the main frame, and a lower end section, fastened to the engine. A vertical central section of the element is of reduced width (W), and has a torsion centre (51). A section of reduced weight (52) is located in the element at a point above the reduced width section.
