Coin handling system with flexible belt that presses coins against surface

The coin handling system has coins of different thicknesses (18) moved along a sorting plane (9) by a flexible feed belt (11) that is held in contact. The contact pressure is applied by several rollers (6) that are mounted at the ends of levers (11) supported at fixed pivot points (3). The tips of the levers are cam profiled (2) and are limited by engaging a surface (7). The opposite ends of the levers are coupled to coil springs (4) that maintain a contact force to press the rollers against the feed belt to effect movement of the coins.
