发明名称 METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR ANALYSIS
摘要 PURPOSE: To determine an objective substance in fluid easily and quickly by arranging a sheath containing a reagent for varying the electromagnetic energy accumulatively and a sheath containing a catalyst and passing the objective substance around an optical fiber (core) transmitting the electromagnetic energy. CONSTITUTION: When a fiber sheath (energy transmission unit) 10 comprising a tubular core 11 surrounded by one or more sheaths 12 is immersed into a test fluid, e.g. blood, the blood permeates the sheath 12 to react on a catalyst and then permeates the core 11. When a light of such wavelength as being absorbed selectively by a substance to be inspected (e.g. blood serum or platelet) in blood is radiated from a radiation source 13 into the core 11, the quantity of light is varied accumulatively by the substance to be inspected in blood reacted on a reagent or a product thereof along the active length a-b of core 11 and the quantity of light leaving the core 11 is decreased in proportion to the concentration of substance to be inspected. The light is detected by a photodetector 16 and amplified 17 and then introduced to an analyzer where the the substance to be inspected is determined.
