PURPOSE: To provide an auxiliary power device for an electric rolling stock capable of being constituted in a smaller size and lighter weight at lower cost. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary power device for an electric rolling stock has an AC power source 4 outputting fixed AC voltage, a transformer 5A with a primary winding 51 connected at the output terminal of the AC power source 4 and a plurality of secondary windings 521-524 converting fixed AC voltage into a plurality of different AC voltage and outputting it and a control means 10 controlling the AC power source 4 so that the output voltage of a plurality of the secondary windings 521-524 coincides with a predetermined fixed voltage. |
