摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a battery charge controller for an electric vehicle capable of preventing self-discharge by leaving for a prolonged term until the drive after charge and capable of minimally inhibiting the drop of a battery temperature. CONSTITUTION: A charge-start time arithmetic circuit 21g arithmetically operates a required charge period on the basis of the quantity of a battery 22 for an electric vehicle discharged at a time when charge is indicated by a charge-start indicating key 51 and a power-supply voltage value suplied to a charger 2 and a predetermined charge current value, and arithmetically operates a charge- start time by (g) so that charge is completed at a drive predetermined time on the basis of the arithmetically operated required charge period and the drive predetermined time set by a drive predetermined time setting key 53. Charge is started by above-mentioned charge current value after an arithmetically operated charge-start time.
