PURPOSE: To obtain the subject resin large in average particle size, low in necessary plasticizer content, and capable of giving molded products with excellent dry touch feeling, by revolving a polymerizable monomer composition, etc., so as to generate vortex shear flow and by delivering the composition, etc., by using pressure difference to effect homogenization. CONSTITUTION: In conducting a fine suspension polymerization of a polymerizable monomer composition containing a liposoluble polymerization initiator and dispersion auxiliary using a surfactant, a mixed liquor comprising the monomer composition and an aqueous medium is delivered and homogenized by using a pressure difference of 5-60kg/cm<2> while revolving the mixture so as to generate vortex shear flow, thus affording (A) the objective resin 2.2-5.5μm in the average particle diameter d50 of the primary particles and 0.8-1.5 in particle size distribution index: (d85 -d15 )/d50 . Another version of the objective resin is composed of the resin A and (B) a synthetic resin 0.1-0.3μm in the average particle diameter d50 of the primary particles at the weight ratio A/B of 0.05-0.30 (pref. containing 60wt.% of vinyl chloride, methyl methacrylate or styrene unit). |
